In June 1989, the project for the Sant'Elmo Village in Castiadas was awarded first prize in the National Competition on the use of Sardinian Granite organised by the entities: Comitato Regionale Sardo (C.N.A.), E.M.S.A. (Ente Minerario Sardo).
